Aqua Park Shinagawa – A fantastic aquarium with cutting-edge technology that can be enjoyed until late at night

Aqua Park Shinagawa is one of the most advanced aquariums in Japan. Well, of course, the aquarium houses a huge variety of fish and other “ocean creatures”, but it also has many interesting and striking new technology! This makes Aqua Park the perfect place not only for families with children but also for couples and groups of friends. Don’t miss the beautiful and artistic fireworks projection event held at night at “Aqua Park Shinagawa” this summer!

Learn more about marine life with an AI app!

When you download the app called “LINNE LENS” on your phone using the aquarium’s free WI-FI, you can check the name and information of a fish just by pointing your phone camera at it. Wow! So no more wondering about what you are actually seeing in the water tank. The response of the app is extremely quick and all of your questions are solved instantly. Very convenient!

Fun rides and attractions? Yes, please!

The aquarium surprises with a thrilling pirate ship ride (at the right of the aquarium entrance), a merry-go-round, a tunnel with elegantly floating mantas and rays, a bar with water tanks as tables, and a picturesque jellyfish aquarium area.

The night show has digital fireworks (this events ends in September)

Right now, the weather in Tokyo is still hot and humid. So why don’t you cool down at the artsy high-tech aquarium “Aqua Park Shinagawa”?!

I was born and raised in Kiel/Germany. When I was 16 I came to Japan for the first time. I fell in love with this beautiful country, so I returned after my university graduation. Since then, I have been living in Tokyo - and I don't plan to change anything about that ;-) My hobbies are taking a stroll around the city, taking photos and drinking coffee.
