You want to go out and have fun – but unfortunately it’s raining … You probably know that too, right?
Don’t worry! There are special activities in Tokyo that are nice for either sunny or rainy days.
Hidden behind a hotel in Shinagawa you can find the “Shinagawa Fishing Garden” – a hotel pool that has been converted a Japanese style fishing pond. Since there is a roof, you can go there even if it’s raining.
The entrance fee (for adults) is 790 yen per hour. Bait and fishing rod are 400 yen. My advice: start a fishing contest with your friends and family and you’ll haven even more fun!
In addition to the fishing pond, there is “Shinagawa BBQ” right next it. The entrance fee is 2,500 yen per adult for 3 hours. This price includes tools such as the BBQ grill, charcoal, plates and so on. You can also order a set of meat and vegetables. That means you do not have to bring anything. If you want, you can bring your favorite ingredients, too.
Don’t worry about getting wet. The BBQ area also has a roof. 🙂
