The Roppongi Art Triangle, consisting of three beautiful museums in the middle of Tokyo, is a must-see place anyone visiting the city. Apart from the museums there are also many cafés and restaurants located in the area. One of them is “Pe’z magic”, a long-established restaurant specialized in sandwiches and hamburgers, and this time we headed over there to check it out!
Opened in 2007, the National Art Center, Tokyo was designed by Kisho Kurokawa and an interesting fact is that they don’t have any exhibition or collection of their own. Furthermore, both the interior and the exterior are very impressive, and it even appeared in the anime “Your Name.”
If you are hungry, you can of course grab something at the cafe in the museum, but you can also head over to a long-established sandwich restaurant, just a minute’s walk from the museum!
“Pe’z magic”, loved for over 20 years in Roppongi, is located on the first floor of an office and apartment complex. The restaurant itself is easy to find, but the entrance is in a slightly recessed area. Therefore, I thought it would be very dark, but there is a romantic skylight area in the back of the restaurant!
A magical lunchtime
The restaurant’s menu mainly consists of juicy hamburgers and classic sandwiches, but also side dishes such as French fries and salads.
The hamburgers may look very simple, but the patties are 100% Nagasaki Hirado beef prepared on a charcoal grill. Let me tell you, it is very delicious! Not only that, but since the hamburgers and sandwiches have organic ingredients it’s a healthy meal too (at least, that’s what I want to believe!!). By all means, this is the perfect location for slow lunch and tea time! By the way, “Pe’z magic” also offers delivery and takeaways.
If you get hungry walking around Roppongi Art Triangle, why don’t you stop by at the healthy, beloved local restaurant “Pe’z magic”?
