Minato Seven Deities of Good Luck

Have you ever tried the Seven Deities of Good Luck Walk which is said to bring longevity and prosperity? In addition to the Seven Deities, there is also a Treasure Ship to which visitors make pilgrimage within Minato City. The walk is comprised of a visit to six shrines and two temples. Each shrine or temple offers their own unique seal for 300 yen a piece. Try collecting them all!

This year’s theme is “Orange Illumination.”
Orange is a symbolic color of Tokyo Tower. In fact, the color of Tokyo Tower is not red, but International Orange. You can see approximately 60,000 orange lights shining in the open space near the front entrance of Tokyo Tower this year as well!

Caretta Illumination 2017〜A Tale of True Love〜

Event Period: Open now until Wednesday, February 14, 2018, ※Not including January 1st and 2nd
Time: 5 pm to 11 pm ※Open from 8 pm in January and February

Caretta Illumination 2017

This year’s Caretta Illumination was chosen for the Beauty and the Beast Best Scene Award through a Twitter campaign poll and channels the most popular scene from the movie, Bell and Beast’s dance. Try immersing yourself in that famous scene, a blue world colored with Bell’s yellow light.
