When traveling in Tokyo, you might ask yourself where you should go to experience Tokyo’s nightlife. Tokyo Tower, one of the symbols of Tokyo, has many attractive spots and facilities that can be enjoyed not only during the daytime, but also at night!
Tokyo Tower is a gourmet paradise. From spring to autumn, an all-you-can-eat (and drink) “Genghis Khan” BBQ awaits you on the roof of the “FOOTTOWN” facility, located directly below Tokyo Tower. At night, the glowing orange and white steel structure of Tokyo Tower is rising into the night sky just above your head!
Night view from the observation deck
Tokyo Tower has two observation decks with a great view over central Tokyo from 150 meters and 250 meters above sea-level.
In addition, the projection mapping event “TOKYO TOWER CITY LIGHT FANTASIA” will be held throughout the year on the 150m main deck, giving you a feeling of the four seasons of Japan. Don’t miss the beautiful visual effects that can be seen exclusively at night!
To go to the 250m observation deck you need to participate in the “TOP DECK TOUR” that can be booked on the official homepage. You will learn about Tokyo Tower’s history, get a multilingual tablet with a voice guide, drink a welcome beverage and get your commemorative photo taken, etc., it’s a true VIP experience with a fantastic view over Tokyo Tower!
TOKYO ONE PIECE TOWER
A sanctuary for One Piece fans, this facility features LIVE shows, attractions, a huge fan shop, and two ONE PIECE themed restaurants. Business hours are until 22:00 (the last admission is 21:00), so you can use the evening hours to explore the amusement park and dine at one of the restaurants!
In conclusion, Tokyo Tower offers restaurants, two observation decks, and amusement facilities which are all open until late at night. With so many things gathered under one roof, it makes Tokyo Tower a great place to experience Tokyo’s nightlife!
