In Tokyo, sightseeing buses and cruise ships are popular tourist attractions. But did you know that there is a bus that drives into the ocean and then turns into a ship? Our three reporters went on a trip with the “TOKYO NO KABA” bus at Odaiba.
“TOKYO NO KABA” is a bus that drives around Tokyo’s leisure island Odaiba and then turns into a ship for a cruise around Tokyo Bay. The word means “hippo” in Japanese and it’s a brand new attraction. The operation just started last November and this new tour will be one of the touristic highlights of 2018 – for sure!
After a 45 minute ride around Odaiba and its touristic attractions, the bus cruises around Tokyo Bay for 25 minutes. The bubbly tour guide is explaining the surroundings and also has a fun quiz for the passengers.
Why don’t you hop on the hippo bus? It’s a great tour: not only for adults but also for children!
