World’s first wireless free-roam VR shooting game at Tokyo Joypolis

Tokyo Joypolis at Odaiba in Tokyo is one of the largest indoor theme parks in Japan. Here, you can enjoy games that make use of state-of-the-art technology.

Recently, attractions using 3D and VR technology are gaining popularity in Japan. The world’s first free-roam VR shooting game “ZERO LATENCY VR” (Note: reservation is required in advance) is an attraction that you can’t experience anywhere else. Up to six people fight together in a team using headsets with microphones to knock down enemies while moving freely around (no wires!) in a game arena.

The head mounted display has great graphics

Other thrilling attractions are “Halfpipe Tokyo” where you are standing on a snowboard which is speeding through a halfpipe and a 3D haunted house…OMG, that was too scary to be true!

“Halfpipe Tokyo” – this doesn’t look 5% as scary and exciting as it actually was!

Tokyo Joypolis is a great thema park with games and attractions for children up to adults. So if you are a big SEGA (or video game) fan or if its raining cats and dogs: this is the place to go!!
